Carolina Herrera is one consistent designer: Season after season, she turns out chic ladylike dresses loved by Anna Wintour and an Upper East Side clientele. It’s not a label worn heavily in Hollywood, it’s almost too covered up — except for the designer’s gowns. In the fall 2012 collection in New York, Herrera regular Renee Zellwegger looked pleased with what she saw, but she’s not going to the Oscars as far as we know. In fact, she’s in a holding pattern, waiting for an approved script for what should be her next movie, Bridget Jones’ Baby. New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand also sat in the front row — and these are perfect clothes for a senator to dress to impress her constituency.

Hi guys! I’m sorry for the many months of not updating the site. I lost the password to Reneefan.net and couldnt retrieve the password until tonight. Needless to say, our Renee has been a little more than under the radar field when it comes to news, paparazzi photos and more! I will be continuing the updates as often as I as before the big long hiatus so stay tuned. To catch up on some gallery updates, I’ve added candids and event photos of Renee mostly from 2011 and a candid from January 2012. Renée Zellweger Wows Fashion Week

Renée Zellweger graced the front row at Carolina Herrera’s Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week show Monday at Lincoln Center in New York. The Bridget Jones’s Diary star donned an all nude ensemble: a form-fitting dress with off-center ruching, matching Christian Louboutin pumps and a beige satchel accented with primary yellow straps and apple green handles.

Zellweger, who often wears Herrera on the red carpet, chatted with fellow actrees Olivia Munn moments before the show began and sat next to Delfina Blaquier, socialite and wife to polo player Ignacio “Nacho” Figueras. Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Stefano Tonchi, editor at W, also sat front row, on either side of a colorful rapper Nicki Minaj who wore a bubble-gum inspired knit top with neon green tights. It was certainly an eclectic contrast to Herrera’s spring 2012 collection of flowy, feminine silhouettes, fun geometric prints and neutral palette with pops of green, yellow and red accents.

Zellweger — whose ex Bradley Cooper is rumored to be dating a newly-separated Jennifer Lopez — will be reprising her acclaimed Bridget Jones role in a third series for the franchise, although a date has not been set for production.
