Days away from its limited release in the U.S., “My One and Only” got a red carpet treatment in New York City. On Tuesday, August 18, red carpet was rolled down in front of Paris Theater, New York to welcome celebrities coming for the premiere of Richard Loncraine-directed comedy movie.
Spotted arriving solo for the special screening event was leading actress Renee Zellweger. The 40-year-old Academy Award-winner wore a figure-hugging, off-the-shoulder little black dress by Carolina Herrera. When interviewed by Entertainment Tonight on what she enjoyed most playing in the movie, she answered, “Hanging out with my boys all summer.”
Renee wasn’t the only cast attending the premiere. Logan Lerman who plays George Hamilton, Holly Palmer who stars as Tanya and Veronica Taylor who takes on Nancy joined her on the red carpet. Executive producer George Hamilton, whose early life story becomes the essence of the movie, and producer Aaron Ryder were also present.

ZELLWEGER TOOK ROAD TRIP WITH MOVIE SON

RENEE ZELLWEGER so enjoyed playing mum to young star LOGAN LERMAN in new film THE ONE & ONLY, she took her movie son off on a road trip to Washington, D.C. after filming had wrapped.
The actress admits the pair bonded immediately on the set and she treated him to movie screenings and a John Mayer concert during the shoot.
But when it came to ending the film, she had trouble letting go.
She says, “We had so much fun last summer and I got used to my little sidekick. When we wrapped, I thought, ‘Now what am I gonna do?’ I wanted to go on another road trip.
“We went to D.C. and took pictures of all the monuments.”
And now Zellweger, who is currently dating actor Bradley Cooper, is convinced she’s got what it takes to be a good mum: “I turned into a mom somewhere between Baltimore and the White House. It was really hot and sunny so I kept reaching into my purse for sunscreen and globbing it on his face.”

Renee attended Herrick Entertainment’s Screening at Goose Creek and Dinner For My One and Only Hosted by CAROLINA HERRERA. Also in attendance was Renee’s parents, Emil and Irene Zellweger, George Hamilton, Calvin Klein, Jon Bon Jovi and more. Photos of the event can be seen in the gallery.
